The high population growth caused an increase in the number of vehicles, which led to congestion in the streets, making it difficult to find a place to park, especially in crowded cities. The project aims to present a proposal on parking problems that lead to increased carbon emissions. Smart parking is one such solution; It can be said that it is a way to make drivers better find their parking spaces through information and communication technology.
The researchers reviewed many Literature Review that talked about the problem, which were collected from several specialized scientific sites such as Google Scholar, Scopus, and EBSCO. The project is divided into three chapters: the first is an introduction, the second is a review of past studies, and the third is the smart parking system design. Through the management and arrangement of these parking lots, the smart auto parking system helped to solve the problem of finding parking spaces. During the process of looking for available parking places, this initiative saves time and effort.
